Once operational,
we expect that
Broadleaf Solar will:

Join us in a cleaner, greener future.
Solar energy is an eco-friendly domestic power source that is inexhaustible and affordable. Broadleaf Solar will decrease CO2 emissions by an estimated 115,000 metric tons annually based on estimates from the EPA, countering the output from traditional fossil fuel-run power plants.
Our commitment to a sustainable future is reflected in our ongoing engagement with the Granby and East Granby communities throughout all project stages. Broadleaf Solar will contribute significantly to the towns’ economies as a significant taxpayer, protect our environment, and increase the sustainability of our electrical grid. Upon retirement of the project, all equipment will be removed, and the improved topsoil will be preserved so future generations can utilize the land.
